Last updated: 28 April 2026
De-joyce Digital service (“De Joyce”, “Joyce Digitals”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the storefront at dejoyce.digital and the related Strapi-powered services. We are committed to protecting the personal data of every visitor and customer, and we handle that data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019 (NDPR), the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and other applicable laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, and password when you create a Joyce Digitals account.
- Order & payment information — billing details, shipping/delivery contact, items purchased, currency (NGN or USD), coupon codes, and order history. Card and bank details are processed and stored by our payment provider TransactPay; we do not see or retain raw card numbers.
- Usage information — pages viewed, products clicked, items added to cart or wishlist, and referral source.
- Device & log data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and timestamps recorded by our servers and analytics tools.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate logins.
- To process orders, fulfil digital deliveries, issue receipts, and respond to support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents on the platform.
- To improve our products and the storefront experience based on usage patterns.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets) and, if you opt in, marketing newsletters about new drops and offers.
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in Nigeria.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with the parties necessary to operate Joyce Digitals:
- Payment processors — TransactPay and any successor gateway, strictly to authorise and settle payments.
- Infrastructure providers — Railway and similar hosting services that run our backend, database, and storefront.
- Legal & safety — law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to disclose information, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and staff.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, role-based access controls in our Strapi admin, and isolated production databases. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to notify us immediately at Sammyking0551@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Your Rights
Under the NDPR and the Nigeria Data Protection Act, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion (subject to record-keeping obligations), withdraw consent for marketing communications, and lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. To exercise any of these rights, email Sammyking0551@gmail.com from the address on file and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and local-storage entries to keep you signed in, remember your cart and selected currency (NGN or USD), and measure aggregate traffic patterns. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, but doing so may sign you out and reset your cart.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Joyce Digitals after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
